A full refurbishment of the Maternity unit was required. All floor, ceiling and wall coverings were replaced, new bathroom facilities installed, fixtures, fittings and equipment replaced in order to meet infection control requirements.
All work completed met with stringent building control standards and technical requirements. The team worked closely with stakeholders to ensure the surrounding environment was disturbed as little as possible and to ensure an effective refurbishment was completed.
