Dorma Loft Conversion

Extensions and reconfigurations to an existing 1970's bungalow.

Options to investigate converting the existing loft with new Dorma and incorporation of the existing gable end.

We initially created a series of massing option sketches to discuss with the client. From these discussions, we developed a single design that modernises and updates the existing bungalow.

A staircase was incorporated onto the end of the bungalow via a small extension so not to reduce the existing ground floor area.

The new first floor incorporates a balcony area which frames the surrounding views.
