Contemporary extension and remodelling of a stone country cottage

A design for a large contemporary two storey extension. In contrast to the existing cottage the extension has large expanses of glass, giving uninterrupted views over two aspects. The large kitchen/diner opens out on to a sun terrace, partially covered by a series of sculptural monolithic structures, which add form to the rear elevation giving a rigidity to the overall design.
