Our brief was to design a bigger home but utilising materials consistent with the style of the existing building and the surrounding properties.

The plans included the demolition of the garage to form a new games room, utility room and downstairs WC, plus the extension and opening up of the existing kitchen and the creation of two new upstairs bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom and both with walk-in wardrobes.

The opening up of the kitchen allows for natural light to enter the space from the rear garden and the end project has created something special for the family to live in and enjoy for many years to come.

The project began at Christmas and Cornbrook Homes completed the work within the anticipated timescale last month.
