This is the first glimpse of a stunning new £7 million project proposed for the heart of Smethwick. The Smethwick Wellbeing Centre will revolutionise the Birmingham suburb and provide a landmark for the area.

It will house a whole host of facilities and activities designed to regenerate the local community, from improving adult social care to developing youth and sports services.

The building is a series of elements rather than one large box, the design allows pedestrian access through the very heart of the building so people can interact with the development even though they may not be going inside. The building aims to form a prominent gateway into Smethwick and provide the springboard for further regeneration of the area.
