On the ruins of a former stately home, this sensitive office development has to tread as carefully as its ancestors. Against the backdrop of the original gateway tower, stable block and chapel, we have set the stage for an imperious show of contemporary architecture for all to bear witness to. A sense of place is reflected in the landscaping which visually records the history of its surroundings: the footprint of the demolished building marked out in pavers which traverse both the courtyards and floor spaces.
